Chelsea continues its plans to strengthen its squad for the summer transfer window. The London club is interested in the services of Bournemouth's central midfielder, Alex Scott.
Idman.Biz reports, citing The Independent, that the Cherries are demanding more than £50 million (approximately 114 million AZN) in compensation for the 22-year-old footballer.
This amount is expected to increase if other clubs enter the fray. The main reason why the Blues are so keen on Scott is the high possibility of Enzo Fernandez leaving the team in the summer.
This season, Alex Scott has participated in 34 matches in all tournaments, scoring four goals and providing one assist. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028.
