"Chelsea" is interested in signing Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "Sports Zone".
According to the source, the English club has agreed on personal terms with the 22-year-old Dutchman. Chelsea head coach Enso Maresca participated in the negotiations. "Leipzig" intends to sell the footballer for 80 million euros.
It is noted that Simons scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in 32 matches in all tournaments in the 2024/25 season. His contract with the German club expires in the summer of 2027.
