Chelsea will donate a portion of the prize money won at the Club World Cup to the family of Liverpool's late footballer Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva. This was reported by "The Athletic", according to Sport24.az.
Chelsea won the Club World Cup by defeating PSG in the decisive match of the tournament, for which they earned $15.5 million.
It should be noted that Jota and his brother died in a car accident in Spain on July 3. According to the initial conclusion regarding the causes of the accident, the car driven by Jota exceeded the speed limit. During overtaking, the car's tire exploded, after which the football player lost control.
