"Chelsea" announced on its official website that it has terminated the contract of midfielder Raheem Sterling.
Idman.Biz reports that the 31-year-old footballer has not played a single game for "Chelsea" this season.
"Raheem Sterling has today left Chelsea Football Club by mutual consent after spending three and a half seasons with us.
We thank Raheem for his contribution to "Chelsea" and wish him success in the next stage of his career," the London club said in a statement.
Sterling was training separately from the main team. His contract with the London club was until June 2027. Last season, Rahim played for "Arsenal" on loan.
