"Chelsea" has broken a record in the Premier League for financial losses.
Idman.Biz reports that the London club recorded a loss of 407 million euros in the 2025 financial year - the worst figure in the history of the English top league. In Europe, only "Barcelona" lost more in 2021 - more than 500 million euros.
The top ten most loss-making clubs of the year also included "Lyon" (196 million euros), "Tottenham" (148 million euros), "Marseille" (105 million euros), "Aston Villa" (97 million euros), "Nottingham Forest" (94 million euros), "Manchester City" (94 million euros), "Strasbourg" (82 million euros), "Ajax" (52 million euros) and "Juventus" (50 million euros).
