18-year-old Argentine winger Ian Zubizarreta may move to London's Chelsea.
According to Idman.biz, the London club plans to outpace Spain's Barcelona in the race to sign the young player.
River Plate is in no hurry to part with Zubizarreta, who can play in three attacking positions. The Argentine's contract with his current club is reportedly due to expire in December 2026, but River Plate plans to offer him a new contract with a €100 million release clause.
Ian Zubizarreta has been playing for River Plate's main team since February 2024. He has made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and one assist. Transfermarkt estimates him at 1.2 million euros.
