The Football Association (FA) has charged London's Chelsea club with misconduct in dealing with agents.
Idman.biz reports that journalist Ben Jacobs reported this on the social network X.
Chelsea has been accused of 74 breaches of FA regulations governing agent activity between 2009 and 2022.
"This mainly relates to the period 2010/2011-2015/2016 when the club was led by Roman Abramovich. Chelsea have until September 19 to respond," Jacobs wrote.
Chelsea is second in the English Premier League standings in the 2025/2026 season. The team has scored seven points in three games.
