Charls Boli: "We believe we will make a comeback"

Idman.biz reports with reference to Telegraf that this was stated at a press conference by Araz-Nakhchivan football player Charles Boli after the first leg of the UEFA Conference League III qualifying round, in which they lost 0:4 at home to Cyprus' Omonia.

According to the 26-year-old midfielder, the opponent performed better: "This is football, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We learn from this. This is our first experience in the Conference League, so we are gaining experience for the next game."

He said he believes they will make a comeback in the return match in Scotland: "We will see what happens in Cyprus, but I believe we will fight hard. I hope the team will perform better. We believe we will make a comeback. It won't be easy, but we have to believe. We will prepare well for this game and we will see what happens after the game."

Boli also spoke about the injury he received in the first half: "I think it's a minor injury. I will be examined tomorrow and I hope I will be able to participate in the next game. My withdrawal from the game was not related to the head coach, I just decided myself because I didn't think I could give 100% of my strength in the game. This situation with my injury made me very angry."

It should be noted that the return match will take place on August 14.
