The prestigious British publication "The Guardian" has reported that the FIFA Club World Cup will be held every two years. Sport24.az reports that this decision will take effect from 2029, and the number of clubs participating in the tournament is expected to increase from 32 to 48.
The last winner of the competition, which was held in the USA from June 15 to July 13, was "Chelsea". The "Nobles" defeated UEFA Champions League winner PSG 3:0 in the decisive match.
12 clubs from Europe (UEFA), 6 from South America (CONMEBOL), 4 from North and Central America (CONCACAF), and 4 clubs each from Africa (CAF) and Asia (AFC) will participate in the World Cup.
