Coventry City goalkeeper Karl Rushworth, who plays in the Championship, may be called up to the England national team for the qualifying matches of the 2026 World Cup in November.

Rushworth has not conceded a goal for 613 minutes, which is a club record. The national team is closely monitoring the player whose rights belong to Brighton. Coventry City currently leads the Championship table with 28 points.
England has qualified for the 2026 World Cup. They are scheduled to play Serbia on November 13 and Albania on November 16 in the qualifying matches.
