"After the result recorded in the first game, it is impossible for "Qarabağ" to come back. We know which team we are going to play against." These words were said by Ceyhun Sultanov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The veteran football player, who currently works as an agent, shared his expectations for the return match of the UEFA Champions League play-off stage with "Newcastle" (England):
"Qarabağ"'s players must play for the team and their own names. "Qarabağ" did more than they could in the Champions League. Maybe this will be repeated, but years later. I don't see any team other than "Qarabağ" repeating this in the near future. Aghdam club has managed to do this with beautiful football before. In order to do more than the play-offs in this tournament, it is necessary that the level of the championship you are playing in and the quality of the players in your squad are high. A great job has been done this season. I thank our representative for giving us this excitement."
It should be noted that the "Newcastle" - "Qarabağ" game will start tonight at 00:00 Baku time. The first match in Baku ended with a 6:1 victory for the English club.
