I congratulate \"Qarabag\". Yesterday's game was truly a magnificent, historic match\". These words were said by Ceyhun Sultanov in his statement to Sport24.az.
The well-known manager spoke about \"Qarabag's\" 3:2 away victory over \"Benfica\" in the first round of the Champions League League stage:
We knew the strength of \"Benfica\". I had faith in our team because \"Qarabag\" also has its own unique style of play. In general, I thought it would be very difficult after 2:0. Still, the experience of the Aghdam club in the Europa League and Champions League played a role. They showed a real team game. All of \"Qarabag's\" opponents seem superior to the Aghdam team in name. In terms of football, however, our representative's name is superior to all of them. We just exaggerate them a lot because they play in top leagues. \"Qarabag\" gave us all a wonderful night. I think it will be even better after that. True, there is a difference from game to game, but \"Qarabag\" did not lose to \"Benfica\" in the game plan. It almost made a better impression than the famous opponent\".
