"I watched the game. There are no favorites in the cup final. Because it's a one-off game, any result can be recorded." These words were said by former Azerbaijani national football player Ceyhun Sultanov in his statement to Sport24.az.
Sultanov shared his thoughts on the dissatisfaction with the refereeing in the decisive match of the national cup:
"It was a very interesting game. It is normal for "Qarabağ" to be dissatisfied with the refereeing. In any case, Qurban Qurbanov saw something. I don't want to talk about the refereeing. Unfortunately, Aghdam residents missed the victory by conceding a goal in the last minutes. I think "Sabah" seemed more eager. They were fighting because it was their last chance for a ticket to the European Cups. After that, nothing can be returned. I wish all our clubs success in the European Cups. I hope there will be no refereeing mistakes there."
It should be noted that "Sabah", which defeated "Qarabağ" in the decisive match of the Azerbaijan Cup, won its first title in history and also qualified for the Europa League.
