"Playing for the national team is one of the proudest moments for me". These words were said by "Zira" football player Ceyhun Nuriyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
He shared his thoughts on being invited to the Azerbaijan national team:
"I am very happy to be called up. As a true Azerbaijani, I am proud to be here and play. We have two tough tests ahead of us. It doesn't matter to us that it is a friendly game. We will give our all on the field. Hopefully, we will achieve the result that suits us."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will play a friendly match against Latvia on June 7 and against Hungary in Baku three days later.
