Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has met with club management to discuss his replacement.
According to Idman.Biz, citing AS, the 34-year-old footballer has recommended 28-year-old Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães. Casemiro believes that his compatriot has all the qualities to become an important figure in Manchester.
Casemiro will leave Manchester United as a free agent this summer as he has not signed a new contract with the club. Meanwhile, Guimarães has a contract with Newcastle until 2028. Transfermarkt values his transfer at 75 million euros.
Guimarães has played 35 games for Newcastle this season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
