Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has spoken about the possibility of extending midfielder Kobbie Mainoo's contract.
Mainoo has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, providing three assists.
"Will Mainoo sign a contract by the end of this season? Of course, we would like to think so too. This moment is approaching, so we remain positive and calm. Time will tell, but we are in a good place right now," Carrick told the club's official website.
The player's contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
