Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has spoken about Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer made a statement to Sky Sports about this:
"I don't see Mohamed Salah in the Liverpool squad next season. The main question for me is whether we will see him here until the end of this season. I think if he leaves, he will regret it a lot.
It is clear that he has disagreements with Arne Slot, but I want to commend the head coach's move. He could have simply left Salah out of the squad for the Brighton game, but he chose to put the team's interests first. As a result, Salah came on the field and helped the team.
I don't believe Salah will move from Liverpool to Real or Barcelona. The only option is the Saudi Arabian League. Liverpool could reach the FA Cup or Champions League final in the second half of the season. Imagine Salah sitting in Saudi Arabia watching his former team reach the Champions League final in Budapest. He deserves a guard of honor and the opportunity to come out on the field with his family. It is worth putting aside the conflict with the head coach and thinking about the three or four months he can still spend at Liverpool."
