Carlos Forbs broke David Beckham's record

Carlos Forbs, the winger of "Brugge", who scored two goals and provided one assist in the match against "Barcelona" (3-3) in the 4th round of the Champions League, broke the record of the famous former English midfielder David Beckham in matches against the Catalan representative in the prestigious tournament. Sport24.az reports with reference to "Opta Sport" that Forbes became the youngest player to score a goal and provide an assist in a Champions League match against "Barcelona" at the age of 21 years and 231 days.

The previous record belonged to Beckham. He was 23 years and 137 days old when he scored against the Catalans at "Old Trafford" in September 1998 and was remembered for his productive pass.

It should be noted that Carlos, who also wears the uniform of Portugal U-21, has participated in 15 games in all tournaments for "Brugge" this season, scored 4 goals and made 5 assists.
