Belarus national football team head coach Carlos Alos may continue his career in Azerbaijan.
Idman.biz reports that there are rumors that the Spanish specialist will lead our national team or "Sumgayit".
The Belarusian press wrote that Alos' future depends on the elections for the post of president of the Belarus Football Federation. According to the details of the contract with the head coach, if the current Nikolai Sherstnev leaves his post, his agreement will be invalidated. Given that elections to the federation will be held on July 17, Carlos' fate will depend on the results.
On the other hand, it is also reported that the 49-year-old specialist has already reached an agreement with "Sumgayit". Currently, the head coach position of the representative of the "City of Youth" is vacant, and it was emphasized that Alos will lead the team next season.
It should be noted that Carlos Alos has been coaching the Belarus national team since 2023. The team he led won 2:0 against our national team in Baku in March of this year.
