The head coach of the Brazilian national team, Carlo Ancelotti, is ready to extend his contract with "Selesao" until the summer of 2030. Sport24.az, citing "Globa", reports that the parties are expected to announce the agreement soon.
The Italian specialist reached an agreement in principle with the Brazilian Football Confederation in February. Ancelotti already receives the highest salary among national team coaches in the world - approximately 10 million euros per year, and the extension of the contract will be carried out under similar conditions, with performance-based bonuses.
It should be noted that Ancelotti has been leading the Brazilian national team since May 2025. The team he leads is in Group C with Morocco, Scotland and Haiti in the final stage of the 2026 World Cup.
