Brazilian national team coach Carlo Ancelotti has assessed Italy's chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the Italian expert made a statement to Mozzart Sport regarding this:
"I wish Gattuso good luck and I hope we will see each other at the World Cup. I am 100 percent sure that they will qualify. Or, let's say 95 percent and fate will decide the rest.
One thing is certain. Italy will play in a relatively easy group at the World Cup. Switzerland will be the only strong opponent in that group."
It should be noted that Italy will face Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow in the decisive match of the 2026 World Cup play-off stage.
