Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of the Brazilian national team, has announced the names of the favorites for the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the Italian specialist made a statement to Sky Sport about this:
"The favorites are the same. France, Spain, England, Germany, Argentina, and Portugal. But be careful, with 48 teams there will definitely be surprises.
I hope Italy can qualify. And I sincerely believe that it will happen. Then we will meet in the final. Everyone will be happy: Italians, Brazilians, and especially me. Emotionally, that would be great for me."
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup, in which 48 teams will participate, will be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
