Candidate for "Sabah" head coach position: Negotiations with Valdas Dambrauskas continue

"Sabah" continues its search for a head coach after Vasili Berezutski's departure.

İdman.biz, citing Idmanxeber.az, reports that Sportal.az reports that they have settled on the option of Valdas Dambrauskas, the winner of the Azerbaijan Cup.

Negotiations with the Lithuanian specialist are currently ongoing. The 48-year-old head coach currently leads the Hungarian team "Dyoşdyor". During his career, he has worked in teams such as "Ekranas", "Zalgiris", RFS, "Gorica", "Ludogorets", "Hajduk", "OFI Crete".

Let us add that last season his team "Omonia" (Nicosia) faced "Zira" (6:0, 0:1) in the play-off stage of the Conference League.
