Pachuca defender Gustavo Cabral commented on the incident with Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger in the group stage match of the Club World Cup (1:3). Sport24.az reports that the 39-year-old Argentinian made a statement to journalists in the mixed zone about this:
"There was nothing racist about it. I called him a coward. There is no punishment for that, it's just words. There was no other intention. The referee made a gesture against racism, but I repeated the same thing: "damn coward".
It should be noted that Rudiger complained of racism after the conflict with Cabral. FIFA is investigating the incident.
