Serhou Guirassy became the hero of the home team in the second half. The striker first equalized the score by accurately converting a penalty in the 68th minute, and just one minute later he scored again, giving his team the victory.
After this result, Borussia Dortmund is in 2nd place in the Bundesliga standings with 45 points. Heidenheim remains in last place – 18th with 13 points.
