Bulgarian national football team head coach Ilian Iliev has resigned.
"Report" informs that the Bulgarian Football Federation has released a statement about this.
The specialist stated that he hopes the change of head coach will reduce the tension around the team.
It should be noted that the Bulgarian national team lost to Spain and Georgia in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup. I. Iliev has held this position since 2023.
