Former Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has compared Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi and Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Idman.Biz reports that Buffon emphasized their different roles on the football field.
"They are two completely different players. Messi is more versatile because he starts attacks from deep. He has the technical skill and vision of a more typical playmaker. Perhaps due to his age, Cristiano Ronaldo has turned into a true killer in the penalty area. Compared to his previous state, Ronaldo conserves energy, so he no longer runs to the flanks to nutmeg or take magnificent shots. When the ball is in the penalty area, he can create opportunities to score goals," - BolaVip quotes Buffon.
