Former Juventus, Parma, and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has spoken about his national team's chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
According to Idman.biz, Goal.com quotes Buffon as saying:
"We are 90% sure that we will reach the play-off stage. In the remaining matches, we must demonstrate the positive aspects that we have shown recently. People and the media must believe in us - we must demonstrate our commitment to football".
After four matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Italy is second in their group with nine points. Norway leads with 15 points after five matches.
