Former Juventus and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has shared his thoughts on the Norwegian national team's performance.
Idman.Biz reminds that the Scandinavian national team defeated Italy 4-1 in the last European qualifying match, securing a place in the 2026 World Cup.
"Norway is a very good team. It is one of the three or four strongest teams in Europe. Norway will make a name for itself at the World Cup: they have enthusiasm because they know they can make history, two or three outstanding talents and impressive physical strength, combined with dynamism, unlike the stagnant and clumsy times of thirty years ago. You were terrified when you read their appeal for 'San Siro'," Buffon said.
Norway won all their matches in Group I of the qualifying round, taking first place with 24 points.
