The prestigious "France Football" publication has announced the name of France's best coach for 2025. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by "Lequipe".
The best of the year was selected as the head coach of "Lille", Bruno Genesio. The 59-year-old coach surpassed Regis Le Bris, who coaches "Sunderland", by 17 points in the voting. The third place was taken by Sonia Bompastor, who leads Chelsea's women's team.
Genesio has been coaching Lille since the summer of 2024. Last season, his team took 5th place in Ligue 1. The team is currently in fourth place after 17 rounds and is 8 points behind leader Lens.
In total, under the leadership of Bruno Genesio, Lille has played 78 matches, winning 40 of them, losing 22 times, and drawing 12 matches.
