Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes spoke about Michael Carrick's role in the Red Devils' recent results after their 2-0 win over Tottenham in the 25th round of the Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese footballer of the Manchester club said that Carrick benefited the team:
"This is football. Everything changes from game to game. I think Michael came to the team with the right ideas. He can put responsibility on the players, he uses the right expressions. At the same time, he gives us the freedom to make decisions. Carrick finds the right words. He remembers that before our last game I told him he would be a successful head coach. I was sure of what I said and now he proves it. We hope that we can help him even more so that everyone can see that not only the players of Manchester United are good, but also all the staff in the club."
It should be noted that Manchester United is in 4th place with 44 points.
