England's "Brentford" club has extended the contract of footballer Igor Thiago.
"Report" informs that the Premier League representative's press service has released information about this.
It was reported that the new contract with the 24-year-old Brazilian striker is valid until the summer of 2031. According to the agreement, there is also the possibility of extending the contract for another season.
It should be noted that Igor Thiago transferred to Brentford from the Belgian team "Brugge" in the summer of 2024.
The striker, who appeared in 27 games in all tournaments this season, scored 18 goals and provided 1 assist. With 17 goals, he is second in the Premier League's top scorers list. Erling Haaland, the Norwegian forward of "Manchester City", leads the list with 22 goals.
