Brendan Rodgers will become the new head coach of Al-Qadisiyah. Sport24.az reports with reference to aawsat.com that the official announcement will be made in the coming days.
The management of Al-Qadisiyah has decided to dismiss the current head coach, Míchel. The 62-year-old Spanish coach has been in charge of the team since October 2023. Al-Qadisiyah is currently fifth in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.
It should be noted that Rodgers has been unemployed since leaving Celtic at the end of October 2025. The 52-year-old Northern Irish specialist is also known for his work at Leicester and Liverpool during his career.
