Brazil's national under-20 football team has finished its participation in the youth World Championship held in Chile in the group stage and failed to qualify for the play-off stage for the first time.
"Report" informs that in the last round of the group stage, the Brazilians lost to the Spanish team with a score of 0:1.
In the other game of the group, the Mexican team defeated Morocco 1:0. Nevertheless, the Moroccan national team became the winner of Group C with 6 points. The Mexican team (5 points) qualified directly for the play-offs. The Spaniards, who scored 4 points, got the chance to continue the fight with the ranking of the best teams that took third place in their groups.
The Brazilian team was able to score only 1 point in three games - only drawing 2:2 with the Mexicans in the first round.
Thus, for the first time in its history, Brazil has failed to pass the group stage of the youth world championship.
