"Zira"'s French footballer, Brahim Konate, gave an interview to Sport24.az. The 29-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts on the Azerbaijan-France match to be held in the qualifying round of WC-2026.
The player, who played six matches in the French U-20 national team, said that he will watch the match:
"I think we will witness an interesting game. Although France has already secured a place in the final stage. There are enough good players in the squad. I think that the Azerbaijani national team did not leave a bad impression in the first match in Paris. They even put up a good fight."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-France match, which will be held on November 16 at the Republican Stadium, will start at 21:00.
