Premier League side "Bournemouth" has launched ambitious reconstruction plans to double the capacity of the "Vitality" stadium.
"Report" reports with reference to "The Sun" that the club will spend approximately £50 million on the stadium expansion project.
"The Cherries" have already started construction with the approval of the local council. "Vitality", currently the smallest stadium in the Premier League with a capacity of 11,000, will be able to accommodate more than 20,000 fans after the renovation.
It was reported that "Bournemouth" is also on the rise financially. The club's total revenue was £143 million in the 2022/2023 season, and this figure increased to £199 million in the 2024/2025 season. Also, the club's new £42 million training center, which opened in April, has been put into use.
Fan interest has also reached a record high. Thus, the ticket renewal rate for the 2025/2026 season exceeded 98 percent. The club management predicts that revenues will increase even more after the stadium is expanded.
