Bournemouth goalkeeper Murara Neto will return to Brazil.
According to Report, citing foreign media, the 36-year-old goalkeeper has agreed with Botafogo.
His transfer will be free for the Brazilian club. The English club has decided to part ways with the goalkeeper in order to reduce the salary budget, as Neto is currently among the highest paid players.
Neto is reported to sign a 2-year contract with Botafogo with an option to extend for 6 months.
It should be noted that the Brazilian goalkeeper, who played for clubs such as Barcelona, Valencia, Juventus, and Fiorentina during his career, played for Arsenal on loan in the 2024/2025 season. He conceded 4 goals in 4 games in all tournaments for the English club.
