Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has responded to Donald Trump's remarks regarding the possibility of postponing World Cup matches in the city.

"So much of this is contractually secured, so no one, not even those currently residing in the White House, can unilaterally take them away.
We live in a world where there are constant threats against individuals and communities who refuse to surrender to control, overreach and submit to hate-based agendas.
We will continue to be ourselves, and that means we will enter a conversation that targets Boston's values. But we will stand our ground to the end," said Michelle Wu.
