English winger Jadon Sancho may return to Germany's Borussia (Dortmund) on a permanent basis next summer.
Report, citing Bild, reports that the management of the Dortmund team is positive about this idea and has already contacted the player's representatives.
It was reported that the player also agreed to a salary reduction in order to get his career back on track. The player, who currently earns £250,000 a week, may have to give up more than half of that amount to move to Dortmund.
Sancho was remembered for his brilliant performance (50 goals) at Borussia from 2017-2021 and was transferred to Manchester United for £73 million. However, he failed to repeat the same success in England.
The 25-year-old player, who belongs to Manchester United under contract, is currently playing on loan for another Premier League representative, Aston Villa. Although Sancho's contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the season, the club has the option to extend the deal for another year.
It should be noted that the winger, who spent the last season on loan at Chelsea, scored 5 goals and 10 assists in 42 games, and also became the winner of the UEFA Conference League as part of the London club. However, Chelsea refused to permanently transfer him by paying £25 million.
