German club "Borussia Dortmund" is preparing to open its first official international academy in Africa.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the "Ghana Online" publication that the academy will be located in Ghana and will begin operating in February 2026.
The new academy will organize a football training program for boys and girls aged 6-18.
The goal is for young football players to receive proper training from an early age and to be prepared for a professional football environment.
"Borussia Dortmund" management plans to contribute to the development of young talents in Africa with this project.
