Borussia Dortmund wants to strengthen its squad with Manchester United's striker Jadon Sancho, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa.
Idman.Biz reports that journalist Florian Plettenberg announced this on social media.
"We are currently evaluating many players. We are trying to understand if any of them can make us stronger. Jadon is also included," said Dortmund's managing director Lars Ricken in an interview with Sport Bild.
It is reported that the two sides are in talks and many other clubs are also interested in Sancho. To return to Dortmund, he will be required to take a pay cut. The German club is considering a free transfer for the player, whose current contract with the Mancunians expires next summer. The English footballer previously played for Borussia from 2017 to 2021, and on loan from Manchester United in 2024.
