"Bologna" head coach Vincenzo Italiano has been hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia. He is expected to miss his team's next two games in the Europa League and Serie A.

He is being treated at the Sant'Orsola Malpighi General Hospital. Italiano's condition is gradually improving, but he will not be able to coach his team in the Europa League match against FCSB on October 23 and in the Serie A match against Fiorentina on October 26.
"Bologna", with one point after two Europa League matches, is in 30th place in the standings. In Serie A, the club is in 5th place with 13 points.
