Kennedy Boateng, a football player playing for the Romanian club "Dinamo", spoke about the failure of his transfer to "Neftchi" at the beginning of the season. Sport24.az reports that the defender, in an interview with Digisport, admitted that the "white-blacks" showed interest in him.
The Togolese player also said that he was close to leaving the Romanian team:
"Sometimes a football player wants to change clubs for financial reasons. Frankly, I wanted to go there, I felt it would be good for me, but it didn't happen. I was a Dinamo player and I had a contract with the club. If Dinamo did not agree, I could not go to Neftchi. In such cases, the club has more power. The club decided it was better for me to stay. At that moment, I had to accept what the club wanted. And I did."
It should be noted that Kennedy Boateng's contract with Dinamo will expire at the end of the current season.
