Former FIFA President Joseph Blatter has criticized the organization's decision to establish a Peace Prize.
Idman.Biz reports that the media previously reported that FIFA would present the award to US President Donald Trump at the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony "for his exceptional and outstanding actions."
"They shouldn't give it (this award). Football shouldn't give the Peace Prize. I think it's wrong.
They (Infantino and Trump) may have a friendship. But I don't see that much interest in football," Blatter said.
The 2026 World Cup draw will take place today, December 5.
