Former FIFA President Joseph Blatter has criticized US immigration policy and visa bans, as well as the country's President Donald Trump. Sport24.az reports that the former functionary made a statement to "RMC Sport" about this:
"The main winner of this World Cup will not be the spectators, but the USA. The World Cup should not be held in a country that does not issue visas to fans. The USA has a slander policy against foreigners. And that is very bad. This is sad for the social and cultural value of football.
Trump is the worst thing that has happened to FIFA. And there is no argument against it."
It should be noted that DÇ-2026 will be held this summer in three countries - USA, Canada and Mexico.
