"Senneriyuske" defeated "Nordsjælland" 3:2 at home in the 3rd round of the Danish Superliga.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the best player of the match was recognized as "Senneriyuske" defender Maksim Sulya, who opened the score in the match. As a reward, the 26-year-old Frenchman received 55 kilograms of freshly dug potatoes, which were brought to the field immediately after the game in a cart.
"Sonderjyske" represents the small town of Haderslev in the Southern Jutland region in southern Denmark, one of the country's agricultural centers. Potatoes are one of the most popular products in Denmark and an integral part of the national cuisine.
Thanks to Sulya's confident and effective game, "Sonderjyske" was able to win their first victory of the season, which raised the team to seventh place in the Danish Championship standings.
Maksim Sulya is a graduate of the PSV academy. He has been playing for "Sonderjyske" since 2021 and has played more than 120 games for the club.
