Lazio's left-back Nuno Tavares is close to leaving the club in the winter transfer window.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Turkish media that the Portuguese footballer is not included in the plans of head coach Maurizio Sarri and is looking for a new team. Although it was initially reported that an agreement had been reached with "Al-Ittihad" under the leadership of Sergio Conceicao, according to recent information, this option has faded into the background.
It is emphasized that the main serious offer for Tavares currently comes from "Besiktas." Although the Istanbul club is close to reaching an agreement with "Lazio," the parties have not yet been able to reach a common position regarding the mandatory buyout condition of 10 million euros.
It is noted that if Tavares' departure takes place, "Lazio" plans to transfer Alfonso Pedraza from Villarreal to strengthen the left flank.
