"Beşiktaş" has denied reports that head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been dismissed and replaced by Nuri Şahin. Sport24.az reports that the Istanbul club's press service has issued a statement regarding this:
"The news circulating in the press, citing foreign sources, that we will part ways with our head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær and sign a contract with Nuri Şahin is false."
A few days ago, news circulated in the press that the "Beşiktaş" management would change the head coach after the team's unsuccessful performance in the Europa League.
It should be noted that the Istanbul team lost to "Shakhtar" with a score of 2:6 in the aggregate of two matches in the II qualifying round of the Europa League. After this, Nuri Şahin was named as the main candidate for the head coach position.
