"Shkendija" captain Besart Ibrahimi participated in the press conference held before the match against "Qarabag" in the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az brings to your attention the thoughts of the 38-year-old striker:
"I believe that if we give our maximum, as in the matches against TNS and FCSB, "Qarabag" is not a team we cannot beat. Of course, they are favorites, but the main thing is that we are ready. We are a good team, we work hard. We have analyzed the opponent team and we believe that we will do better.
We had pressure on us in the game with TNS. There was no pressure against FCSB. We did our best and qualified for the stage. I hope there will be no pressure in the match with "Qarabag". Everything that comes our way will be better for us. Even if we have a little chance, we are ready for this match, why not beat them? I mean, "Qarabag" is a quality team, but the favorites don't always win.
I thank the fans who supported us in the match against FCSB. I hope there will be more people in the stadium tomorrow. With their support, I believe that we will realize the dream we all built together."
