Bernd Stange, a friend of the German-Azerbaijani Society and a well-known football expert, visited the Professional Football League as part of the "Azerbaijan-Germany Friendship Week." Sport24.az reports that the meeting, which took place today, was attended not only by the coach, but also by Chingiz Abdullayev, the chairman of the society, Rustam Rahimov, a member of the board, and Veli Gasimov, a well-known football veteran.
The guests were received by Elkhan Samadov, the president of the Professional Football League.
During the meeting, the parties held general discussions on football and shared memories. Representatives of the society thanked the PFL leadership for the warm welcome. At the end of the meeting, Elkhan Samadov, the president of the Professional Football League, presented the guests with souvenir gifts related to the Professional Football League and Azerbaijani football.
It should be noted that the "Azerbaijan-Germany Friendship Week" is being held in our country from June 18 to 22 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the German-Azerbaijani Society. During the week, a number of events dedicated to the development of bilateral relations in the fields of science, culture and sports are organized. Bernd Stange's meetings with our country's sports community are also included in this series of events.
